Work to live….NOT live to work. Enjoy what you do!

In late 2009, life pressures became overwhelming....2 toddlers, husband, house and busy professional career. I made the decision to scale back; changed employers and reduced my work hours.

Healthier and happier, I was able to pursue more "ME TIME". I began painting glassware and creating glass plate 'flowers'. During my travels, I find unique and interesting glassware. In addition, estate sales, Good Will and thrift stores have many exciting treasures! My storage and studio space now takes up about 1000 square feet.

The company *Glass Blooms* was formed in mid-2011 and started selling on Etsy. With an active wholesale business and Etsy, I've made the decision not to participate in craft fairs.
